Electrical Infrastructure Design for Site Development:

TVECC is an approved consultant for Saudi Electric Company (SEC) and MARAFIQ.   Our Electrical Team has been involved in planning and design of major site development and primary and secondary electrical infrastructure projects at Jubail, Yanbu and Jazan in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Our team capability and experience includes the design and detailing of the following electrical services:


  • Overarching detailed knowledge of local authority, client standards and specifications, including the differences and exceptions between the standards, such as SEC, Marafiq, SABIC, ARAMCO, HCIS, MOT, SDMS guidelines
  • Detailed knowledge of international standards and codes such as NFPA, BS, IBC, IEC, IESNA, UL and IEEE
  • Extensive experience of coordination with Utility Companies, SEC and MARAFIQ
  • Medium voltage distribution networks in accordance with the utility company standards and regulations
  • Loop feed, radial feed and complex networks
  • Highway and street lighting networks
  • Sizing of package substations, unit substations, ring main units, transformer, MV switchgear and generators
  • Distribution single line electrical diagrams
  • Load estimations, network analysis, short circuit calculations, relay coordination, load flow analysis, cable sizing
  • Duct bank sizing, manhole design, hand hole design
  • Design parameter verification with ETAP software modelling
